I’ve studied over 250 hours of training material, and passed 7 qualifying exams!
Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you who have been supporters along the way. It means so much to me that you’re showing up and celebrating this huge success with me!
If you’d like to catch up on all that I’ve been covering in my training, check out these posts:
This final module was deeply impactful.
We covered a range of topics to help us get started, for those who are new to coaching and those of us who are already practicing and seeing clients.
We also talked a lot about eating disorders and weight-loss clients who want to lose 100 pounds or more.
But what impacted me the most is the future of Nutrition content.
We currently spend nearly $80 billion dollars on weight loss and diet control in the United States alone.
In 2012, that number was $20 billion dollars.
When looking at statistics, it’s important to ask who is funding the research.
I’m learning that organizations like the Food Addiction Institute are stealth groups funded and run by psychiatrists and doctors of bariatric surgery.
So many people are being fooled into believing that they have a problem. That they need to abstain from food in order to achieve this image or perfection that is blasted out in front of us all day.
People, it’s not true. Please don’t believe their lies!
You are beautifully and Divinely designed!
Your body is WISE, as you can see from all of the information I’ve been sharing with you.
Please know that you are not broken and you don’t need fixing.
It’s true that you may have some challenges with weight, food, or body image.
That’s ok. These challenges can be healed.
My training in Eating Psychology and Mind Body Nutrition has equipped me to help people just.like.you.
Eating Psychology is a positive, empowering, and transformational approach that’s suitable for anyone who eats. As your Coach, I approach your challenges with eating, weight, and health not as an indication that you’re broken, but as a beautiful opportunity for you to grow and evolve.
Mind Body Nutrition advances the practice of clinical nutrition by exploring how thoughts, feelings, and beliefs impact not just our overall health, but how our body responds to food and nutrients. It focuses on the fascinating connections between brain, body, and behavior.
Simply put, what we eat is only one part of good nutrition. The other part is who we are as eaters in respect to our relationship with food and body.
