1. What is Eating Psychology?

Eating Psychology is a fairly young, and very important, field originated by Marc David, Founder of the Institute for the Psychology of Eating. This approach is suitable for anyone who eats. That means you!

Each of us has a unique, fascinating, and constantly evolving relationship with Self and with food. In Eating Psychology, this relationship is affirmed in a positive, empowering, and transformational way.

I approach your challenges with eating, weight, and health not as an indication that you’re broken, but as a beautiful opportunity for you to grow and evolve.

Consider your relationship with food as your personal compass, pointing you towards important lessons to learn if you choose to listen. It is intimately connected to other primary Life dimensions, such as relationships, family, work, sexuality, and your search for meaning and fulfillment.

This powerful breakthrough approach recognizes your challenges with eating, weight, and health, and sets you on your transformative Journey to healing.

2. What is Mind Body Nutrition?

Mind Body Nutrition is another young, and very exciting, field originated by Marc David. It is exciting and very timely, as we live in a society that glorifies physical perfection, hard core exercise, and fad dieting.

Mind Body Nutrition advances the practice of clinical nutrition by exploring how thoughts, feelings, and beliefs impact not just our overall health, but how our body responds to food and nutrients.

As a field of practice, it is a progressive approach that goes far beyond classical nutrition. Mind Body Nutrition focuses on the fascinating connections between brain, body, and behavior.

Simply put, what we eat is only one part of good nutrition. The other part is who we are as eaters.

As a specialist in Mind Body Nutrition, and your Mentor, I am trained to identify and understand how stress physiology, the relaxation response, breathing, awareness, pleasure, meal timing, and much more profoundly influence digestion and calorie burning.

Mind Body Nutrition is a practical and results-oriented strategy for the most commonly seen eating challenges and health problems of our times.

3. What qualifies me to mentor others around their relationships with food and body?

I have been through the intensive training and coaching certification by the Institute for the Psychology of Eating, the world’s leading school in Nutritional Psychology.

I have 250+ hours of intensive training from the founding father of Dynamic Eating Psychology & Mind Body Nutrition, Marc David.

Additionally, I have a diverse background and career, which has placed me in the forefront of working with individuals who suffer from body image dysmorphia, severe dieting and calorie restriction, mental illness, and eating challenges.

4. What would our work together look like if you hired me as your Mentor in Eating Psychology & Mind Body Nutrition?

When you enroll in a mentoring relationship with me, you will first have a free 15-minute consultation call to see if you are a good fit. It’s important for both of us to feel a sense of safety and comfort before moving forward, for the work to come to fruition.

We will meet for an exhaustive intake session where you will answer several questions. You will have the opportunity to ask your questions as well, so write them down as they come up for you.

You and I will decide how often we will meet based on the type of work you are doing. This may or may not change from month to month. It is contingent upon the homework that I assign you after each session, and how you are progressing in the work.

The work is complete when either you, me, or both of us feel that you have reached your highest goals. This can take anywhere from 4-8 months, or longer.

  • Those who willing to play a long game and follow the steps according to the program.
  • Anyone who is sick and tired of feeling sick and tired, and is ready to reclaim their health.

6. What is a Clean Living Transition, anyway?

Your Clean Living Transition (CLT) is a personalized Journey that is tailored specifically to your wants, needs, and budget. Your CLT will look like what you want, and cost as much as you can afford.

It is a 90-day program that takes you through 10-steps, going from an entire household of commercial products to deciding the first “clean” product(s) you will begin your transition with.

I take you through each of the steps and the process involved, help you to remove any barriers to success, and guide you for the entire 90-day program, until you are confident and sure about how to carry out the process for the remainder of your transition.
